"WHICH IS CUTER: TORTOISE VS SNAKE?"

To quantify their cuteness, they will be scored using which one is more likeable and less scaly.

TIMID TORTOISE 

Tortoises have the reputation of being SLOW!!😕 (CUTE!) They have little stubby feet, similar to that of an elephant 🐘 and have a rounded, arched shell. Interestingly, a tortoise is turtle, but a turtle is not a tortoise?!?  A turtle is ANY shelled reptile that belongs the CHELONII family = a tortoise is a more specific type and is a terrestrial turtle🐢.

 

To describe something as tortoise shell you would say it was “Testundinal”. You can tell a tortoise comes from a warmer climate as they also have a lighter shell. (LESS SCALY)

 

Until a tortoise reaches a certain size you can’t tell whether it’s a boy or a girl! (It isn't dependant on age) Funnily enough a tortoise can hold its breath for a very long time but CANNOT swim!!! They also smell with their THROATS!

A “CREEP” is what you would call a group of tortoises. This idea inspired ancient roman military.

SNEAKY SNAKE

Lets start by saying snake have been given a BAD REP from the get go🐍.  (they can still try. 😜) If you hate snakes and don’t want to see them, you’ll have to move to ANTARTICA!!❄⛄

Also you’d think snakes would be slimy, but they’re NOT = confusion and disappointment!!! 😒 This means they are VERY scaly!!!!

Snakes are carnivores which means they are meat eaters. In order to eat this food, because they can’t bite, they have to eat it whole. To do this their jaws are very flexible which allows them to eat things that are BIGGER THAN THEIR HEAD!!!!

Venomous Snakes inject their prey with venom however constrictors like to squeeze their prey – interesting fact that Anacondas and Pythons after feeding can survive for about A YEAR without food!!!
