“Which Is Cuter: Miniature Poodles vs Cocker Spaniels?”
To quantify their cuteness, they will be scored out of 50, by using 5 categories: hair, eyes, nose, nature and skills.
Up first is the Miniature Poodle:
Poodles come in three
different sizes. Theses size are: toy, miniature and standard. For the purpose
of this blog Miniature Poodles shall be discussed. A miniature poodle stands
between 11 to 15 inches in height and can weigh in at 15 to 17 pounds on average. Miniature
Poodles come in two builds the correct one being Square. This means their legs
are long enough for their height and length to be approximately equal. They are
light
shedding and very
hypoallergenic for a coated breed – however they do require to be trimmed on
the regular.
Not ones to take
kindly to being left alone they require a lot of companionship and mental
stimulation. If they are they can become very destructive – which is not
something anybody wants! They are one of the smartest and most trainable of all
breeds as learn quickly and respond exceptionally well to training. Some might
say they are miniature athletes, as well as being athletic they are also
elegant. However, they are also big barkers which unfortunately I think may take
a toll on their score.
Ratings:
- Hair:
with a trim - 8 (without a trim – 5)
- Eyes:
like two black holes - 4
- Nose:
tiny and cute as a button - 7
- Nature:
due to their barking – 6.5
- Skills: 8
This gives Miniature
Poodles a final score of: 33.5/50
Up next their Competitor the Chocolate Cocker Spaniel:
Cocker
Spaniels that are well-bred tend to have a sweet nature as they can be very
affectionate and cuddly – so are very family friendly. They are usually between
1 foot 2 inches to 1 foot 3 inches and they tend to weigh 24 to 28 pounds. They
have a very high sensitivity level but also have a low tolerance for being left
alone.
They
can require a lot of grooming but have an average amount of shedding. However,
they can be very prone to becoming quite chubby.
They
are also very easy to train and are quite intelligent. However, unfortunately
they also love to bark but not quite as much as the Miniature Poodle.
Ratings:
- Hair:
they have a lush coat – 7
- Eyes:
very nice – 6.5
- Nose:
small and cute -7
- Nature:
loving - 7
- Skills:
very sporty - 7

of: 34.5/50
However, the scores don’t matter – they are both WINNERS! Bye!

Phenomenal blog, personally I favour the apricot variety of miniature poodle. I do however have a soft spot for the family favourite chocolate cocker spaniel.
ReplyDeleteI have to go with the Cocker Spaniel here. Love this blog! More please :)
